While we have been in the Lehigh Valley for nearly 40 years, HSA Mechanical actually had its start in 1932 as Herman Sommer & Associates (hence, our name HSA) in Newark, New Jersey where the company specialized in boilers and furnace refractory.
As the business grew, so did the team and the territory it covered. An office was moved to center city Allentown in 1979 to better service the ever-expanding Lehigh Valley market.
In 2009, the business moved to its current 12,000 sq ft headquarters in South Whitehall Township on the western edge of the Lehigh Valley. From this location, we can reach from Easton to Reading and Northampton to King of Prussia and beyond – providing service in hours, not days.
HSA is uniquely positioned to bridge the service needs of older traditional systems, like boilers and chillers with newer technology, as well as mini-splits and control systems. It’s that range of HVAC experience and commitment to keeping our customers operational, productive and comfortable that is redefining commercial facility services for our customers. That is the HSA way.
